As I walked home from the house of friends, I stopped to appreciate where I currently call home. (You can see our roof about the middle and to the right of the photo.)
About six months ago, I felt the draw to move here. I had sat in ceremony with a couple that are Shipibo-trained healers, and I felt called to do more work with them.
I did 5 ceremonies with them back in March, and tonight, I go into ceremony again for a total of 4 more.
Such gratitude I have to be able to do this work without needing to leave my family for 10 days. Typically, people go away for retreat, which wouldn’t be as manageable for me.
While there’s an ending date on living here, it’s definitely an important step on my healing journey.
